Silverboat.com was created by Gary A. Noubarian and George H. Baker III. Their concept was simple; to create the most advanced site for reverse mortgage loan education with an emphasis on family involvement throughout the decision making process. The Silverboat theme, "Money for Mom and Dad", speaks loudly of the mission of the Silverboat site.  Silverboat has been under development for the past 18 months and was launched in May of 2008 as an information and marketing portal, with loans being provided by the site's sponsor, Grand Bank N.A. The site is full of rich content including video and audio segments. Silverboat is not a lead gathering endeavor sending out videos of featuring movie stars and selling the names of the video recipients to other lenders. Rather, Silverboat is intended to be a valuable reverse mortgage information portal with interactive tools that provide valuable insight into reverse mortgage loans in general and the Silverboat process in particular. In addition, the totally unique "Crew Meeting" feature of Silverboat uses the site as a gathering place for all interested parties to a reverse mortgage transaction. To date, Silverboat is the only portal of its kind. It should also be noted that the combined mortgage lending experience of the Silverboat principals is over 50 years, with thousands of closed loans in general, and over 17,000 closed FHA loans since 2000. With this kind of experience coupled with the Silverboat mission, it's a given that Silverboat.com is the most valuable place to be when it comes to reverse mortgage loans.
